Journey to hollywood
Alex’s journey started as a child while his father was a photographer in Los Angeles. Being exposed to the industry at a young age, Alex was naturally drawn to it. At 16 years old, Alex was on the set of a Pepsi commercial using the Alien character from Alien 3… watching that transformation from man to alien fascinated him, and he knew the path he wanted to take in his future. After high school, Alex studied makeup at the University of Cincinnati’s College Conservatory of Music.
Starting out he began doing makeup for theater and haunted houses. Friend and fellow makeup artist Ken Niederbaumer suggested he move to LA to pursue a career in film and TV as a professional makeup artist. Since 2002, Alex Noble has been an intergral part of the makeup community within Hollywood and around the world. He is currently a member of the 706 union and soon to be 798.
